We are a Kenyan game production company creating both digital and physical board games for local and international audiences. We were among the winners of the Chezo Gaming serious game competition, where our board game DownStream – the H2O game – was developed.
Get Started!DownStream takes you on an adventure through the world of water. You play as water drops, competing to collect as many litres as possible on your journey to Lake Mwisho. As you move through Mwanzo town, you’ll need to avoid bad luck, pollution, and water-wasting residents, all while answering questions and helping people along the way.
DownStream is a family-friendly game designed for both children and adults. It promotes responsible water use at home and in the community by teaching players about the water ecosystem, practical ways to conserve water, and the impact of pollution — all while keeping the experience fun. As an added benefit, students in CBC and IGCSE grades 5 to 8 can use the game as an engaging study tool to review science topics related to the environment, water conservation, and pollution.
